Student Life

Rio Lindo Academy is an English-only campus. An important part of every international student's education is learning to speak English. In order to be successful as a student at Rio, students are required to speak only English when they are outside of their own dormitory rooms. Rio accepts and respects students of all religious faiths and backgrounds. However, because of supervisory issues, attendance at weekend religious services and dormitory chapel services is required for all students when on campus. The cafeteria serves three well-balanced vegetarian meals per day, Monday through Saturday, and two (brunch and dinner) on Sunday. The menu includes dairy products and meat substitutes, however, no meat products are served in the cafeteria.
