 Dorm Life Living in a dormitory provides many opportunities for Rio boarding students to gain personal independence and responsibility. Each dorm is staffed by two qualified professional deans. The deans’ rolls are to create a family atmosphere of trust with a Christian foundation. In addition, the deans hire approximately six resident assistants per dorm to help with student management and spiritual support. The friendly atmosphere in Rio’s dorms helps to develop a close sense of family among the residents.
