Mathematics Pre-Algebra / 10 units Pre-Algebra is designed for students who need review in basic principles of mathematics and a solid introduction to Algebra I. Algebra I / 10 units Algebra I is designed for students who have had a solid foundation in arithmetic and prealgebra. When students complete this course they will be well prepared for Algebra II or geometry. Algebra II / 10 units Algebra II is designed for students who have successfully completed Algebra I with a grade of at least a C-. Students explore unknown variables, Logarithms, Trigonometry, and complex numbers. Geometry / 10 units Geometry is designed for students who have successfully completed Algebra I. The class works with basic geometric shapes, triangles, polygons, and circles. Pre-Calculus / 10 units This class is intended for students who have completed two years of high school algebra and one year of geometry. Students are given the opportunity to prepare for college mathematics, review for college entrance exams, and broaden their understanding of mathematics. They will be well prepared to move on to Calculus after successful completion. Calculus / 10 units Calculus is designed to show the students how precalculus mathematics is transformed to form the New Math of calculus. It covers differentiation and integration with applications. |
