 Girls' Dorm The deans welcome you to a new school year! Students are encouraged to take personal responsibility to know what the dorm policies are and to follow those policies. When this happens the Deans are not put in the position of being policemen and are able to focus on their goals of creating a homelike environment and supporting the girls. The handbook gives specifics in some important areas of dorm life to remind returning girls of dorm policies and to answer some questions that our new girls may have. A handy list of things to bring (and not bring) to Rio is also provided to help you plan for the school year. The deans would like to invite open communication with the families of our girls.
