Jim Renslow and his family have lived at Rio for three decades. Mr. Renslow and his maintenance crew keep the buildings up to date, fix and repair school vehicles, and are always available to repair anything that needs it. Basically, this guy can do anything. In recent years, Rio has undergone many mini-facelifts across campus and Mr. Renslow and his team have redesigned parts of the buildings to allow better supervision and functionality for staff and students. His goal is to keep the facility as safe as possible while looking nice and tidy.
Mr. Renslow considers Rio to be a great experience for both himself and his family. He enjoys working at Rio because there is always something different to work on and never a shortage of work. He can be seen in his free time working on his bee hives. Mr. Renslow also loves working on cars or trucks, boating, camping, or doing anything outdoors.
